I personally don't see why South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Carol Fowler has asked Alvin Greene to withdraw from the race for US Senate. It can't be just because the man was recently charged with disseminating, procuring or promoting obscenity. After all, the Democratic Party is not only the home of the abortion industry; it is also the party of decadent Hollywood and pornographers like Larry Flint as well. Nationally, it is also the home of secular human movement, a movement which among other things feels porn is liberating.

By sticking with Alvin Green, the Democratic Party would at least be true to its core philosophy.
