South Carolina appears headed for another January presidential primary, as Republicans jockey to stay ahead of Florida and other states trying to capitalize on the exposure and economic impact that comes with early voting.

This is all getting tiresome as to which state goes first.
What is it, a way for small states like Iowa, N.H., etc. to get in the spotlight for a while
