Maybe there's a place for a different interpretation from the point of view of international law? Why 90% of people in SOuth Ossetia have Russian passports? Maybe you should try to understand the situation? why all western journalist are in Tbilisi(Georgia), not i Tskhinvali (South Ossetia).
