The Polish Nightingales - Polskie Slowiki

Polskie Slowiki, also known as The Polish Nightingales, performed for over 57 years and were identified by their traditional red waistcoats and light brown kneepants. Founded by Jerzy Kurczewski, their excellent reputation in their interpretations of works by classical composers, led them to perform at countless world renowned concert halls including: Carnegie Hall, New York; Berlin Philharmonic; Vienna Musikverein, among others.

A new choir called the Poznan Boys Choir was constructed in 2003 on the foundations left by the discontinued "Polish Nightingales".
