Black Pastors Protest Margaret Sanger at Smithsonian

By Dr. Paul G. Kengor

Margaret Sanger is a saint in the feminist church. She is a charter member of the progressive hall of fame. Liberals revere this woman who preached “race improvement” and denounced what she called “human weeds,” “morons,” “idiots,” “imbeciles,” and the “dead weight of human waste.”

Hillary Clinton glows that she is “in awe of” Sanger. She said so in 2009 upon receiving Planned Parenthood’s “highest honor” that year: its coveted Margaret Sanger Award. Likewise effusive was Nancy Pelosi when she proudly accepted the award in 2014.

Half a Million People Sign Petition Urging Francis to Reinforce Church Teaching on Marriage at Synod

What a great tragedy and sadness it is when the Body of Christ must shepherd a rogue and heretical Pope.

Five cardinals are among the signatories to a petition organised by Catholic student association TFP Student Action

More than 500,000 people, including five cardinals, have signed a petition asking Pope Francis to reinforce Church teaching on marriage and the family at the synod of bishops in October.

The petition, launched by Catholic student association TFP Student Action and backed by 25 pro-family groups around the world, was posted on the organisation’s site in late January.

It has since been signed by five cardinals, 117 bishops and hundreds of civil leaders, in addition to the thousands of university students it was aimed at.

The cardinals who are signatories are Cardinal Raymond Burke, Cardinal Jorge Medina of Chile, Cardinal Ricardo Vidal of the Philippines, Cardinal Alexandre José Maria dos Santos, Mozambique, and Cardinal Jānis Pujats of Latvia.

Pat Buchanan: Is Trumpism the New Nationalism?

By Patrick J. Buchanan

Since China devalued its currency 3 percent, global markets have gone into a tailspin. Why should this be?

After all, 3 percent devaluation in China could be countered by a U.S. tariff of 3 percent on all goods made in China, and the tariff revenue used to cut U.S. corporate taxes.

The crisis in world markets seems related not only to a sinking Chinese economy, but also to what Beijing is saying to the world; i.e., China will save herself first even if it means throwing others out of the life boat.

Christian LeBlanc's Summapalooza, Class 1: "Spirit and Stuff"

We are very pleased to begin today a catechetical series which uses the Bible to teach the Catholic faith.  The series of talks is presented by one of the Church's foremost catechists and evangelizers,  Christian LeBlanc.  His Summapalooza presentations offer profound insights into Holy Scripture and the doctrines of the Church and will profoundly enrich your spiritual life. Summapalooza was part of an adult education program offered by Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville, South Carolina.

Christian LeBlanc is a revert whose pre-Vatican II childhood was spent in South Louisiana, where he marinated in a Catholic universe and acquired a Catholic imagination. During his middle school years in South Carolina, Christian was catechized under the benevolent dictatorship of Sister Mary Alphonsus, who frequently admonished him using the nickname “Little Pagan.” After four years of teaching Adult Ed and RCIA, he returned to Sr. Alphonsus’ old classroom to teach Catechism himself. This is his 12th year of teaching sixth grade.

Married to Janet, the LeBlancs have five children and two grandsons. He is the author of the highly acclaimed The Bible Tells Me So: A Year of Catechizing Directly from Scripture, on which these talks are based.
