Documentary Exposes Abortion as The Evolution of Racism and Black Genocide

From LifeSiteNews
By Theresa Casta

The new documentary film Maafa 21 provides a convincing argument that "...legalized abortion is more than just a crime against humanity, it is also the continuation of a 150 year old racial agenda, that was founded in black genocide." The film offers an in-depth look at the plight of African Americans after the end of slavery, and demonstrates some of the shocking similarities between Hitler's Germany and 20th century America.

After viewing the powerful film, Congressman Trent Franks remarked: "We never quite seem to be so eloquent when we decry all the crimes of a past generation, and we are never so staggering blind, as when a genocide occurs in our own time."

"Maafa" is a Swahili word meaning a "great disaster" or a "tragedy," a fitting title for a film that attempts to expose "Black Genocide." Originally, "Maafa" described the period of history where Africans were kidnapped from their villages and taken to another continent to be sold as slaves. The documentary argues that the time of tragedy for the African-American people never really ended, but has actually intensified over the centuries.

Maafa 21 was produced by Mark Crutcher of Life Dynamics and features Dr. Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King Jr. It has been hailed as a must-see by black communities, and compared with "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" as it exposes what seems to be another inconvenient and shocking truth.

From the racist and eugenic words and actions of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, to today's abortion and birth control megacenters targeting black communities, the film makes a convincing argument and serves as a warning to the black community.

Dr. Alveda King to Planned Parenthood: Stop Lying About Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., has responded to Planned Parenthood's King Day press release linking the work of the abortion business to the civil rights leader.

"Every year Planned Parenthood tries to imply that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would approve of what it does today because he received an award from the organization 44 years ago," said Dr. King. "Every year they lie. My Uncle stood for equal protection and non-violence -- two concepts that Planned Parenthood violates every day by being the nation's largest abortion business."

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, stated that Planned Parenthood is no stranger to falsehoods. "Videotape reveals that Planned Parenthood doesn't tell the truth to women and doesn't tell legal authorities about possible criminal activity," said Fr. Pavone. "Its implied claims about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. are just more of Planned Parenthood's stock in trade -- deceit."

"Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. did not attend the event where his award was presented. We don't even know if he wrote the words of the acceptance speech that was read at the banquet," added Dr. King. "In 1966, abortion on demand was unthinkable. To imply that Uncle Martin's receipt of that award constitutes his endorsement of what Planned Parenthood engages in today -- the destruction of human lives -- is an outrage."

Dr. Alveda King on King Day: The Dream Includes Us All, Born and Unborn

My good friend Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., released the following comments today on the celebration of her Uncle's life.
"Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke of a Beloved Community where all are treated with respect and dignity," said Dr. King. "He fought against society's exclusion of people who were treated as less than human because of their appearance. Today, we are compelled to continue Uncle Martin's fight by standing up for those who are treated as less than human because of their helplessness and inconvenience.

"The unborn are as much a part of the Beloved Community as are newborns, infants, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. Too many of us speak of tolerance and inclusion, yet refuse to tolerate or include the weakest and most innocent among us in the human family. As we celebrate the life of Uncle Martin, let us renew our hearts and commit our lives to treating each other, whatever our race, status, or stage of life, as we would want to be treated. Let us let each other live."

Dr. Alveda King on the Killing of George Tiller

In the wake of the killing of abortionist George Tiller, I asked my good friend, Alveda King, if she would share her thoughts with Sunlit Uplands readers. Alveda is the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, she has lost members of her family to violence, she is a veteran of the civil rights movement in her own right, and had an abortion before becoming a leader in the pro-life movement. I am grateful for the following thoughts that she has allowed me to share:

“Two years ago, I visited George Tiller’s clinic in hope of telling him that babies desire mercy. I wanted to share with him the harm I experienced from abortion. My prayer was that one day he would join me in repentance. I am deeply sorry that his life was taken before that could happen.

“It’s especially horrifying that Dr. Tiller was shot in church. My grandmother, Alberta King, was killed by a Christian-hating gunman as she played the organ during Sunday services. Just as the womb should be a safe haven, so should church. I condemn this murder in the strongest possible terms.

A colleague of mine in a pro-life African-American coalition, Pastor Stephen Broden, also declared, 'Pro-lifers are devastated by the Tiller killing. In the great tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we pray, march, and counsel peacefully. Just as earlier civil rights workers, pro-lifers do not answer violence with violence.'”

Alveda King Writes to President Obama

I am very proud to count among my friends Dr. Alveda King. The niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, she is a valiant champion of the pro-life movement. She knows that all the progress America has made in civil and human rights is undermined if the most fundamental right, the right to life, is not respected.

On January 23 she presented the following message at the gates of the White House for President Obama:

Delivered at White House Gates
Washington, DC
January 23 at Noon for Birmingham Letter Project

Ezekiel 34

1 Then this message came to me from the LORD: 2 "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: Destruction is certain for you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn't shepherds feed their sheep? 3 You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve. 4 You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the broken bones. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with force and cruelty. 5 So my sheep have been scattered without a shepherd. They are easy prey for any wild animal. 6 They have wandered through the mountains and hills, across the face of the earth, yet no one has gone to search for them.

7 "Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 8 As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, you abandoned my flock and left them to be attacked by every wild animal. Though you were my shepherds, you didn't search for my sheep when they were lost. You took care of yourselves and left the sheep to starve. 9 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD. 10 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I now consider these shepherds my enemies, and I will hold them responsible for what has happened to my flock. I will take away their right to feed the flock, along with their right to feed themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths; the sheep will no longer be their prey. 11 "For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search and find my sheep. 12 I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places to which they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day. 13 I will bring them back home to their own land of Israel from among the peoples and nations. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel and by the rivers in all the places where people live. 14 Yes, I will give them good pastureland on the high hills of Israel. There they will lie down in pleasant places and feed in lush mountain pastures. 15 I myself will tend my sheep and cause them to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign LORD. 16 I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak. But I will destroy those who are fat and powerful. I will feed them, yes – feed them justice!

17 "And as for you, my flock, my people, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will judge between one sheep and another, separating the sheep from the goats. 18 Is it not enough for you to keep the best of the pastures for yourselves? Must you also trample down the rest? Is it not enough for you to take the best water for yourselves? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? 19 All that is left for my flock to eat is what you have trampled down. All they have to drink is water that you have fouled. 20 "Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will surely judge between the fat sheep and the scrawny sheep. 21 For you fat sheep push and butt and crowd my sick and hungry flock until they are scattered to distant lands. 22 So I will rescue my flock, and they will no longer be abused and destroyed. And I will judge between one sheep and another.
Although we rejoice with President Obama’s historic win as the first African-American elected President of the United States, we are deeply troubled by his radical support of abortion. His embracing of prenatal murder is a tragedy and travesty of social justice and the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King and the Scriptures. By supporting policies which have resulted in the deaths of over 50,000,000 innocent American lives, President Obama overlooks the eternal truth of “loving your neighbor as yourself.” Throughout history, the people of God have always been a public prophetic witness against injustice and “spoken truth to power.” We see many examples of this in Scripture and throughout church history.
• In 2 Samuel 12:1:7, we read how the prophet Nathan confronted King David for his sin of adultery with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband Uriah.

• In Mark 6:17-28, the prophet John the Baptist confronted King Herod for having an adulterous relationship with his brother’s wife.
So, it is in that “prophetic spirit” that God is calling the church to prayerfully challenge President Obama on his radical support for abortion in Washington, D.C. this January. The reality is, President Obama, FOCA and all of your other pro-murder plans would set the human rights and civil rights movements back 35 years with your tragic prenatal murder policies even as you persist in the face of millions of Americans who are growing more and more uncomfortable with abortion. As I close with the message of my uncle Martin, and more strongly and persistently with the message of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I’ll revisit their words:
If I have said anything today that overstates the truth and indicates an unreasonable impatience, I beg you to examine your own hearts. If I have said anything that understates the truth and indicates my having a patience that allows me to settle for anything less than the unadulterated love of Jesus Christ, I beg God to forgive me.
I hope this message finds you strong in the faith. I also hope that circumstances will soon make it possible for me to pray for all of you, not as an integrationist or a civil-rights leader but as a Christian sister. Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice and prenatal murder will soon pass away and the deep fog of misunderstanding will be lifted from our fear drenched communities, and in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brother and sisterhood will shine over our great nation with all their scintillating beauty. In Deuteronomy 30, God commands us to choose life. In Matthew 19: 18 Jesus says: Thou shall do no murder. The choice of abortion is prenatal murder.

As a repentant and silent no more post abortive mother, as a citizen of these United States whom you are pledged to serve, from the youngest, the weakest, to the most mature, until our natural deaths, I beseech you, President Obama, in the name of Jesus, let the babies live!

Anti-Prop. 8 Activists Aim Racial Slurs at California African-Americans - Both Homosexual and Straight

Blacks Voted for Proposition 8 70% to 30%, According to Exit Polls

From LifeSiteNews.com

Amid the rampant homosexualist protests in California, following the victory of Proposition 8, reports are pouring into homosexual blogs of same-sex "marriage" supporters directing their bile against the African-American community, aiming racist and threatening remarks even against blacks who are themselves homosexual.

Exit polls showed that African-Americans supported Proposition 8, the true marriage ballot measure, 70% to 30%.

One reader of Rod 2.0, a leading gay blog by an African-American, reported that when he joined the large homosexual protest outside Westwood's Mormon Temple, protesters called him a "nigger" at least twice.

"It was like being at a klan rally except the klansmen were wearing Abercrombie polos and Birkenstocks," wrote the commenter.

"YOU NIGGER, one man shouted at men (sic). If your people want to call me a FAGGOT, I will call you a nigger. Someone else said same thing to me on the next block near the temple ... me and my friend were walking, he is also gay but Korean, and a young WeHo clone said after last night the niggers better not come to West Hollywood if they knew what was BEST for them."

Another African-American reader from Los Angeles reports that he and his boyfriend, also black, were harassed about their race despite their prominently carrying "No on 8" signs.

"Three older men accosted my friend and shouted, 'Black people did this, I hope you people are happy!'" he relates.

When the man pointed out the sign he carried, "One of the older men said it didn't matter because 'most black people hated gays' and he was 'wrong' to think we had compassion,'" he says. "I guess he never thought we were gay."

Jasmyne Cannick, another popular African-American homosexual blogger, said last week that within three days of Proposition 8's victory she received several calls from homosexual and straight blacks who described being called “niggers” and "being accosted in their cars and told that it was because of 'you people gays don’t have equal rights and you better watch your back.'"

Homosexualist leaders have called upon their constituents to cease the racist attacks.

Kathryn Kolbert, President of the liberal People For the American Way Foundation, said that homosexuals should not blame blacks, saying that "responding to that hurt by lashing out at African Americans is deeply wrong and offensive — not to mention destructive to the goal of advancing equality."

Instead, she suggested that the cultural influence of religion is more to blame. She claims that religious leaders swayed the black community against same-sex "marriage," and convinced them to break away from the "civil rights" banner now hoisted by homosexuals.

In response, Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., told LifeSiteNews.com that "it is absolutely no secret that African Americans support the sanctity of life and marriage," adding that this fact is "something that America needs to know."

Blacks support the true definition of marriage rather than "equal rights" for homosexual unions, King said, because homosexual "marriage" is not a legitimate civil rights issue - contrary to some who say blacks have hypocritically abandoned the fight for equal protection under law.

"Certainly and obviously procreative marriage - between one man and woman - is God's best plan for raising children," said King. "We as African Americans cannot possibly be missing the boat by understanding that the sanctity of marriage is the best way to be sure that the human race thrives."

Anti-marriage protesters have also attracted media attention for targeting individual supporters of Proposition 8.

Scott Eckern of the California Musical Theatre, a true marriage supporter, resigned from his position as artistic director when homosexual "marriage" advocates began attacking Eckern and boycotting the theater. Eckhern had privately donated $1000 to the "Yes on 8" campaign.

Blogger Clyde Fitch launched one of many invectives against Eckern, calling him "an enemy of all that is good in America.

"You deserve not only to be fired, you should be viciously attacked using words and nothing but words by the men and women of the American theatre. And then you should go back to whatever rock you crawled out from under. Slime."

Upon his resignation, Eckern apologized for the "hurt feelings" his actions caused, but did not apologize for his commitment to true marriage.

The Bee also reports that Scott Purves, of Purves & Associates, a Davis insurance company, described someone picketing his business earlier this week with a sign reading, "Purves Family Supports Homophobia."

"If this had gone the other way, I can't imagine the backlash if people protested and called the other side names," said Purves. "People would be angry and rightfully so."

Planned Parenthood Has 'Racist Agenda,' MLK's Niece Says

By Josiah Ryan

The niece of the late Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., is among a group of pro-life black leaders calling for an end to federal funding for Planned Parenthood because of what she calls Planned Parenthood's "racist agenda."

"Planned Parenthood is definitely a racist organization - they have a racist agenda," Dr. Alveda King told Cybercast News Service. "Since 1970, there has been something like 50 million abortions. About 17 million of those have been blacks. It's black genocide. They are killing our people and fooling us."

Last year, The Advocate, a student publication at the University of California - Los Angeles, placed phone calls to Planned Parenthood offices around the country offering to make donations specifically to subsidize the abortion of black babies.

The publication then posted videos on YouTube using audio recordings of calls on which Planned Parenthood officials agreed to accept race-targeted donations. Planned Parenthood officials issued an apology, stating it was not their policy to accept race-targeted donations for abortions.

In March, the National Black Pro-Life Union sent letters to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, NAACP, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Congressional Black Caucus and Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.).

The letters call on these groups and Fattah to support the termination of federal funding of Planned Parenthood, which currently exceeds $300 million a year.

The National Black Pro-Life Union is a coalition of 15 African-American organizations that includes the Coalition of African-American Pastors, High Impact Leadership Coalition, and King for America, which is led by King.

According to the National Black Pro-Life Union, none of the groups contacted, as well as Fattah, have responded to the letters.

King, who is also a pastoral associate for the conservative pro-life group Priests for Life, said she was partially motivated to join the campaign to terminate federal funding for Planned Parenthood because in the early 1970s she was fooled into getting an abortion by a Planned Parenthood office that told her that her baby was "just a blob" of tissue."

There are more Planned Parenthood clinics in black neighborhoods, because there is an artificial demand, which was created by Planned Parenthood," King told Cybercast News Service. "We were told by Planned Parenthood that abortion, which is actually murder, is therapeutic."

The Planned Parenthood Federation did not respond to Cybercast News Service's multiple requests for comment.

"It's very difficult for them to understand that we are part of one race - the human race - and racism is just fighting among ourselves," said King. "Congress needs to defund Planned Parenthood for participating in this agenda right away."
