Congressman Peter King Says Don't Mourn a Pedophile

We do not expect much in the way of character and moral leadership from the Democrat-led House of Representatives, but it defies belief that the Congress of the United States and our President have taken time to memorialize Michael Jackson. One can feel sorry for any bereaved mother and children, but the orgy of media coverage and mourning for this low-life, freak and pedophile is a telling and very disturbing barometer of the nation's moral and intellectual well being.

Earlier generations might acclaim real heroes such as returning soldiers, Charles A. Lindbergh or the pioneering astronauts, General Eisenhower and other military heroes, world statesmen and Presidents, but the hagiography being served up by the media for Michael Jackson is an offense to families whose loved ones are true heroes, those who have served and sacrificed their lives here and around the globe.

We have seen this before with John Lennon, Princess Diana, and others, but it is a phenomena unseen before recent decades. We believe it has everything to do with a loss of faith and the reason that is intrinsic to Christian faith. In its place is a new age of irrationality where thinking is replaced by feelings and community is realized through devotion to celebrity figures.

Has the world forgotten that this very perverted man-child paid millions to settle with the families of children he molested?

Representative Peter King sums up the insanity:

The mkt res company i work for, mediacurves.com. Just released results from a study concerning Congressman King's remarks about Michael Jackson. They say that 43% of Americans agree with what he said but 60% think he took it too far.

We would love to hear what you think.

Thanks
