Obama Judicial Nominee Says Sexual Sadists Deserve Lighter Sentences

Hat Tip NewsBusters

President Obama's nominee to the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, Judge Robert N. Chatigny, holds a disturbing fringe opinion that sexual sadism should be a legal mitigating factor. In fact, Chatigny put this belief in action while presiding over the case against the "Roadside Strangler" where he did everything in his power to keep serial rapist and killer Michael Ross from getting the death penalty. Democrats Attempt to Silence Unfriendly Bloggers

The Democrats’ DISCLOSE Act is bad enough for attempting to obstruct free speech rights with regard to political campaigning, but the chutzpah doesn’t end there. In case you haven’t heard, the bill would affect how certain incorporated entities exercise their free speech rights, with an exemption for some in the media sphere like newspapers, TV news, and the like.

Never mind that the Supreme Court’s opinion in the Citizens United case said, “Differential treatment of media corporations and other corporations cannot be squared with the First Amendment.” Democrats clearly are not interested in aligning this legislation with the First Amendment. But here’s the kicker – bloggers don’t get the same exemption provided to other media sources.

In order to exercise their right to political free speech, bloggers would have to jump through the same onerous new hoops as many businesses, nonprofit groups, and your local homeowners’ association (seriously).

The Obama administration has already shown itself perfectly willing to freeze out media sources that hurt its feelings (Fox News, anyone?). Would anyone be surprised to see them use the hastily-written DISCLOSE Act to crack down on less-than-friendly political bloggers? After all, election season is throttling up, and there are plenty of New Media types not willing to sing the praises of the regime's reckless agenda.

Incidentally, the bill’s primary author is the guy in charge of getting Democrats elected to the House of Representatives, Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD). And as a huge contributor to Democrat campaign efforts, Big Labor is – of course – not subject to all the new rules.

For the record, they will put this blogger in one of their FEMA detention camps before we will be silenced by the thugs of the Obama regime.

Last Week Obama Administration Officials Apologized to This China for Human Rights Abuses in America!

Last
week Obama's Assistant Secretary of State, Michael Posner, equated Arizona's illegal immigration law with Communist China's worst human rights abuses -- a system that spies on every person, forces abortions, punishes faith, tortures and murders its own citizens, and has raped Tibet.

Here is a glimpse of the culture the Obama administration equates with our own - the slave auction of an 8 year old boy on a Chinese street.

Chained to a lamp post, the terrified Chinese boy whose poverty-stricken father tried to sell him on the street

From Daily Mail (UK)

A father staged a modern-day slave auction after chaining his son to a lamppost and taking bids from strangers to take the terrified eight-year-old off his hands.

Father Yong Tsui had put up a small table with a sign on it giving the youngster's age, name, and his capacity for hard work.

But when bidders began to ask how little he could eat, furious passers by turned on the auction and attacked Fai's father to stop the sale in Wuhan, central China.

Private Pay Shrinks to Historic Lows as Gov't Payouts Rise

From USA Today
By Dennis Cauchon

Paychecks from private business shrank to their smallest share of personal income in U.S. history during the first quarter of this year, a USA TODAY analysis of government data finds.

At the same time, government-provided benefits — from Social Security, unemployment insurance, food stamps and other programs — rose to a record high during the first three months of 2010.

Those records reflect a long-term trend accelerated by the recession and the federal stimulus program to counteract the downturn. The result is a major shift in the source of personal income from private wages to government programs.

The trend is not sustainable, says University of Michigan economist Donald Grimes. Reason: The federal government depends on private wages to generate income taxes to pay for its ever-more-expensive programs. Government-generated income is taxed at lower rates or not at all, he says. "This is really important," Grimes says.

White House Infested with Rats
From American Thinker
By
Jeannie DeAngelis

Symbolic omens aside, the fact that a black rat ran in front to the podium, while Obama was speaking is more than exceedingly appropriate.

The President has spent days, talking down America, flouting the rule of law and siding with a foreign leader against the nation he leads. In one horrendous declaration after another, Barack continues to drone on and on.

Today, making a triumphant statement about the "end of a Senate filibuster on his financial overhaul plan," a fitting guest made a dual appearance in front of the podium, stealing the show from with the President.
Obama had just begun an afternoon statement to reporters lauding the end of a Senate filibuster on his financial overhaul plan when some kind of rodent - opinions differ on which - dashed out of the bushes to his right, just outside the Oval Office.
The little furry "critter trundled straight past the gray podium with the presidential seal and made a bee-line for another set of bushes to Obama's left."

Figures, Obama's left side always finds a way to manifest itself, regardless of the state of affairs.

It appeared as if the president didn't even notice the "rat," which is understandable based on habitual self-absorption, coupled with Obama's familiarity with the party in power. For Barack Obama one rat, more or less, is inconsequential.

After the rat ran by, Obama left the podium and retreated to the Oval Office after which, "a fierce debate erupted among the photographers and reporters who'd witnessed the dash. Was it a rat or a mouse? Or maybe a mole, or a vole, or some other kind of related creature."

If anything, "mole" sounds like a possibility especially after last nights state dinner where Mexican, Oaxacan Black Mole sauce was the highlight of the meal.

However, "this wasn't the first time a rodent's been spied in the White House, or even the Rose Garden. Just last week, as camera crews set up for an Obama statement on the Gulf oil spill, what's believed to have been the same rodent made a dash across the famous garden." Kind of like a rat monologue.

Apparently, in the past there has been at "least one rat sighting," in the White House briefing room, "though that was before a multimillion-dollar rehab project was finished by the Bush administration."

Lately, however, the same rat pretty much shows up whenever Obama is either preparing to, or in the process of opening his mouth.

Although, "rodents of all kinds are pretty common in Washington. From time to time, city officials issue alarms about surges in the rat population when residents put out extra-big summer piles of garbage." Which explains the recent phenomenon, the Resident-in-Chief, sets out big piles of rhetorical refuge and a Rattus rattus shows up. Or maybe the rat shows up beforehand, no one knows for sure.

So either the rat feels comfortable around Obama, or Obama is putting out so much garbage that its time to issue a national alarm because the surge in the rat population is up by at least by at least one. Or maybe Barry is just feeling lonely and found a new friend named Ben

Regardless of the reason for the rat sightings, it appears something definitely has to be done about the rat presently residing at the White House.

Sestak Has ‘Moral Imperative’ to Answer Questions on White House Job Offer, GOP Congressman Says

From CNSNews
By Fred Lucas

Fresh off a win over incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter in the Pennsylvania Democratic primary, Rep. Joe Sestak is still obligated to answer questions about a job he says the White House offered him as an inducement not to run against Specter, a leading House Republican said.

“Could the reason why Congressman Joe Sestak refuses to name names is because the very people who tried to bribe him are now his benefactors?” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) ranking member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said in a statement Wednesday.

TV Documentary Shows Socialist Ideas Devastated Detroit

Demonstrates Why Failed Ideology Is Clear and Present Danger for America -- Airs May 23 Nationwide

As America sprints toward socialism, the city of Detroit provides a compelling look at what lies ahead and reveals why a course correction is needed. Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger, a TV documentary that airs nationwide Sunday, May 23, looks at the Motor City, where experts say excessive government regulation, social welfare policies, entitlement programs, and more have devastated what was once a vibrant American metropolis. A preview of the program is here.

Rev. Levon Yuille, a Detroit-area pastor for 42 years, says it is heartbreaking to see the city's transformation from one of America's most prosperous cities in the 1950s to one with a surplus of squalor, vacant lots, abandoned houses, dilapidated buildings, and blight.

"The city has lost half of its population and it has a skyrocketing crime rate," Yuille said. He blames the city's devastation on social welfare programs employed more than 30 years ago. That's when the Marxist philosophy of Coleman Young, Detroit's mayor from 1974 to 1993, began to take root, Yuille explained.

Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger also features footage from Venezuela and testimonies from Venezuelans who live under the socialist regime of Hugo Chavez. Interviews conducted in Latin America, and across America, and an analysis of socialism's tragic and blood-stained record in the 20th century show that a free market economic system produces the best results for citizens.

"The last century offers overwhelming evidence that socialism may promise paradise, but in the end, it produces poverty, tyranny and death," said Dr. Jerry Newcombe, co-producer of the TV documentary. "Socialism not only violates the principles of God's Word, but it has brought misery to millions. That's why America must not go down its path."

2010 Moscow Victory Day Parade and the US Army was There

This past March we posted a column by Russian authority Kim Zigfeld criticizing the Obama administration for sending, for the first time ever, American soldiers to "march in the infamous military parade through Red Square alongside the neo-Soviet army of proud KGB spy Vladimir Putin."

Zigfeld warned that the spectacle of American troops marching alongside the troops of the Russian regime would send a chilling message to those oppressed by a government led by veterans of the KGB:
"Make no mistake about how Russians will understand this event. Putin will say to them: “You see, not only will they not help you fight for democracy, they will march against you. They will help me crush you.”
The following are highlights of the parade in Red Square. The U.S. Army's 18th Infantry Regiment, stationed in Baumholder, Germany, can be seen at 07:03 on the video. The socialist governments of France and the United Kingdom also sent military units.

Stalin would be proud of Comrade Obama.

Obama to Pick Pro-Abort Elena Kagan for Supreme Court: Report

From LifeSiteNews
By Kathleen Gilbert

Top White House aides expect President Obama to select Solicitor General Elena Kagan on Monday as the Supreme Court justice to replace retiring Justice John Paul Stevens, reports Mike Allen of Politico Friday.

"Kagan's relative youth (50) is a huge asset for the lifetime post. And President Obama considers her to be a persuasive, fearless advocate who would serve as an intellectual counterweight to Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Scalia, and could lure swing Justice Kennedy into some coalitions," reports Allen.

Both former U.S. President Bill Clinton and Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) urged Obama last month to select someone who has not served as a judge. Kagan, who was appointed to her current position in March 2009 after nearly six years as the Dean of Harvard Law school, is the only member of the relatively short list of names considered for the position to have no judicial experience.

Kagan is known for strongly favoring taxpayer funded abortion, and is a critic of the 1991 Supreme Court decision Rust v. Sullivan, which upheld federal regulations prohibiting Title X family planning fund recipients from counseling on or referring for abortion.

Americans United for Life also reports that Kagan once suggested that faith-based groups operating pregnancy care centers should not counsel pregnant youths, for fear that they would include their religious beliefs in the counseling process.

In April, the White House reacted with fury when Ben Domenech, writing in a blog post for CBS News, declared that Kagan would be the "first openly gay justice" on the U.S. Supreme Court. Under increasing pressure from the Obama administration, CBS eventually pulled the post and Domenech apologized for "a Harvard rumor" - but not before posting an addendum stating: "I have to correct my text here to say that Kagan is apparently still closeted - odd, because her female partner is rather well known in Harvard circles."

US Citizen From Pakistan in Custody Over Times Square Bomb Plot

The First Suspects.

What a surprise! Who'd have thought the attempt to blow up Times Square might be the work of the "religion of peace?" Perhaps with this morning's news, Obama and his Secretary of Homeland Security might even suspend their hunt among the Tea Party Movement, the Pro-Life Movement, and the Boy Scouts of America. Nah, probably not.

From
CNSNews.com

The fast-moving investigation into Saturday’s attempted car bombing in Times Square netted its first suspect overnight Tuesday, when a Pakistani-born U.S. citizen was arrested at JFK airport as he tried to leave the country for the Middle East.

The Justice Department said Faisal Shahzad was arrested “for allegedly driving a car bomb into Times Square on the evening of May 1, 2010.”

Obama Regime Threatens Critics

From Pajamas Media
By Ron Radosh

As readers of The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal know, last week Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel and World Jewish Congress head Ronald S. Lauder purchased full page ads challenging President Obama’s policies on the Middle East and Israel.

Lauder’s ad appeared on April 15th. “We are concerned,” Lauder began, “about the nuclear ambitions of an Iranian regime that brags about its genocidal intentions against Israel. We are concerned that the Jewish state is being isolated and delegitimized.” He continued:

Our concern grows to alarm as we consider some disturbing questions. Why does the thrust of this Administration’s Middle East rhetoric seem to blame Israel for the lack of movement on peace talks? After all, it is the Palestinians, not Israel, who refuse to negotiate.

Israel has made unprecedented concessions. It has enacted the most far reaching West Bank settlement moratorium in Israeli history.

Israel has publicly declared support for a two-state solution. Conversely, many Palestinians continue their refusal to even acknowledge Israel’s right to exist.

The conflict’s root cause has always been the Palestinian refusal to accept Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people. Every American President who has tried to broker a peace agreement has collided with that Palestinian intransigence, sooner or later. Recall President Clinton’s anguish when his peace proposals were bluntly rejected by the Palestinians in 2000. Settlements were not the key issue then.

They are not the key issue now.

“Appeasement,” Lauder wrote the President, “does not work.” The real threat was not Israeli settlements, but “a nuclear armed Iran.”

One day later, Wiesel issued a statement to the press assuring them that his ad was not coordinated with Lauder’s WJC statement. Wiesel said that Jerusalem must remain the spiritual capital of the world’s Jews, and should serve as a symbol of faith and hope – not as a symbol of sorrow and bitterness. He wrote: “Jerusalem is the heart of our heart and the soul of our soul.” Jerusalem, Wiesel said, “is above politics…It is mentioned more than 600 times in Scripture – and not a single time in the Quran… Its presence in Jewish history is overwhelming.”

He continued to point out that the old city of Jerusalem would still be Arab if Jordan had not joined Egypt and Syria in the 1967 Six-Day War. Unlike when it was in their hands, however, “for the first time in history, Jews, Christians and Muslims may all worship at their shrines…And contrary to certain media reports, Jews, Christians and Muslims are allowed to build their homes anywhere in the city.” He noted that while Jews would be willing to die for Jerusalem, they would not kill for it.

Both men are prominent leaders of the American Jewish community, with wide influence. They are accustomed to speaking out when they feel the interests of world Jewry and Israel is being threatened. Yet, “unnamed” official representatives of the U.S. Government evidently released the following statement to both Haaretz and other news media: “United States administration officials have voiced harsh criticism over advertisements in favor of Israel’s position on Jerusalem that appeared in the U.S. press with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s encouragement. ‘All these advertisements are not a wise move,’ one senior American official told Haaretz.”

Am I incorrect to think that this little item, buried at the end of a story in the Israeli paper Haaretz, is more than unusual? American citizens, a category that include both Lauder and Wiesel, have the right to speak out, and to exercise their First Amendment rights to disagree with administration policy, and even to spend their own money to advertise their views. What right does any unnamed official- one must ask whom they are- have to publicly chastise them and release a statement to that effect in Israel and to the world press?

In a matter of hours, the Haaretz story spread all over the world on the internet. We must ask what this says about the Obama administration, which seems to find any criticism extremely threatening. In acting to stifle those with the courage to take them on, the Obama team demeans itself, and again shows how it is seeking to tilt our traditional Middle East policy in a new direction.

Obama Says Value-Added Tax May Be An Option

"I will cut taxes--cut taxes--for 95% of all working families. In an economy like this, the last thing we should do is raising taxes on the middle-class."

Barack Hussein Obama at the Democratic National Convention Aug 27, 2008

President Barack Obama suggested Wednesday that a new value-added tax on Americans is still on the table, seeming to show more openness to the idea than his aides have expressed in recent days.

Before deciding what revenue options are best for dealing with the deficit and the economy, Obama said in an interview with CNBC, "I want to get a better picture of what our options are."

After Obama adviser Paul Volcker recently raised the prospect of a value-added tax, or VAT, the Senate voted 85-13 last week for a nonbinding "sense of the Senate" resolution that calls such a tax "a massive tax increase that will cripple families on fixed income and only further push back America's economic recovery."

Apollo Astronauts Decry Obama Space Plans

The U.S. shuttle program is ending this year. The U.S.
will have to catch a ride with Russia's Soyuz after that.

The Obama administration's vision for the future of manned space flight will bump the United States to "second or even third-rate" status as a space-faring nation, the commanders of three U.S. moon missions warned Wednesday.

The letter was signed by the first and last men to walk on the moon -- Neil Armstrong from Apollo 11 and Eugene Cernan from Apollo 17 -- and James Lovell, who commanded the heroic Apollo 13 flight.

Obama's Disregard for Media Reaches New Heights at Nuclear Summit

No, this armed camp is not a FEMA detention
center, it's the Washington Convention Center.

Even The Washington Post is beginning to notice that chill, totalitarian winds are beginning to blow under the Obama regime. With the fascist takeover of the auto, health care, and insurance industries, and citizens compelled to buy insurance and pay for infanticide, did they really think "old republic" notions of a free press would endure?
From The Washington Post
By Dana Milbank

World leaders arriving in Washington for President Obama's Nuclear Security Summit must have felt for a moment that they had instead been transported to Soviet-era Moscow.

They entered a capital that had become a military encampment, with camo-wearing military police in Humvees and enough Army vehicles to make it look like a May Day parade on New York Avenue, where a bicyclist was killed Monday by a National Guard truck.

In the middle of it all was Obama -- occupant of an office once informally known as "leader of the free world" -- putting on a clinic for some of the world's greatest dictators in how to circumvent a free press.

The only part of the summit, other than a post-meeting news conference, that was visible to the public was Obama's eight-minute opening statement, which ended with the words: "I'm going to ask that we take a few moments to allow the press to exit before our first session."

Reporters for foreign outlets, admitted for the first time to the White House press pool, got the impression that the vaunted American freedoms are not all they're cracked up to be.

Census used as 'Gay Gimmick'

Traditional marriage proponents are warning that homosexual activists and the Obama administration are once again working in concert to "manipulate" federal law.

From OneNewsNow
By Jim Brown and Charlie Butts

CensusThe Associated Press reports that the Census Bureau plans to count same-sex couples who say they are married, regardless of whether they have a marriage license (see AP article). Even though only five states and the District of Columbia have legalized same-sex "marriages," the Census Bureau says same-sex couples should feel free to check the "husband" or "wife" boxes on the census form, rather than "unmarried partner."

Peter LaBarberaPeter LaBarbera, executive director of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, argues that the Bureau is clearly violating the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which does not recognize same-sex marriages.

"What they're obviously trying to do is magnify the numbers of homosexuals in the society," he suspects. "This dates way back in the gay movement. There was a time when homosexual activists just lied and said that ten percent of the public was gay -- that was a bald-faced lie. It took decades to finally disprove that lie, but here again we see them calling themselves married because they want to be called married. Well, that's not what the law says."

LaBarbera believes homosexual activists are using the census as their latest "gimmick" to seek affirmation of their lifestyle, and he challenges Congress to "step up" and prevent the Obama administration from promoting the "gay" agenda by dictate.

Marriage by opinion is not marriage by law

Similarly, Matt Barber, director of cultural affairs at Liberty Counsel, believes the source for the Bureau's instructions can perhaps be traced as far as the White House. (Listen to audio report)

Matt Barber"It's a shame that the Census Bureau, in tangent with radical homosexual activists, are choosing to use the census, which is supposed to provide objective, quantifiable information relative to varying demographics around the country, that they're using this as a tool for political activism," Barber laments.

He notes that just because a homosexual couple might call their relationship a marriage, that does not make it so. "It is directly contrary to probably the letter, at least the spirit, of the Defense of Marriage Act," he adds.

The federal law recognizes marriage as a union between a man and a woman, and the cultural affairs director believes the purpose in the census campaign is to "create an impression in the minds of the American people" that the movement for legalizing homosexual marriage has more steam behind it than it actually does.

Obama’s EPA Gave Energy Star Certification to ‘Gas-Powered Clock Radio’ and 14 Other Phony Products, GAO Says

One of the phony products certified by the EPA as an energy-efficient air cleaner was pictured on a phony Web site as nothing more than a space heater with a feather duster taped to it. (Photo from GAO report)

The Environmental Protection Agency certified that a “gas-powered clock radio” was an energy-efficient product under the government’s Energy Star program, despite the fact that neither the clock nor its manufacturer ever existed.

The clock and 14 other phony products were part of an investigation into the Energy Star program conducted by the Government Accountability Office, which submitted 20 fraudulent Energy Star applications from four fake companies. The EPA evaluated 16 of those products while the Department of Energy (DOE) evaluated four.

Heritage Foundation: $1 Billion AT&T Headache is Just ObamaCare’s First Side Effect

From The Heritage Foundation

In the closing days of the Congressional health care debate, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told the National Association of Counties: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” Today marks the end of just the first week of life under Obamacare and Speaker Pelosi has been proven right: we are just now finding out what is in it. This past Friday, AT&T, the biggest U.S. telephone company, announced that it would take a $1 billion charge against earnings thanks to tax changes buried in the 2,300+ page bill. $1 billion. That is a full third of AT&T’s $3 billion earnings for the fourth quarter of 2009.

The tax charges stem from changes Obamacare makes to the tax treatment of prescription-drug benefits for retirees. Companies used to be able to deduct part of their costs for providing drug benefits to their retirees, but Obamacare cancels that deduction. Roland McDevitt, director of health care research at Towers Watson, tells the
Wall Street Journal, they “have a stream of tax benefits they are losing way out in the future.” Since companies had counted on these deductions for current and future retirees as an existing asset under the old law, accounting rules require firms to take the full loss for the change in the same quarter in which the tax law is changed. Hence Friday’s announcement to inform shareholders that AT&T’s bottom line was about to take a $1 billion hit.

AT&T’s billion-dollar Obamacare headache is so large due to the size (281,000 employees) of the company. Piper Jaffray & Co. analyst Chris Larsen tells Bloomberg: “Companies like AT&T, that have large employee bases, are going to have higher health-care costs and, therefore, lower earnings unless they can negotiate something or offer less to their employees.” And changes to current and future retirees’ health care seem to be exactly what will AT&T will do as a side effect of Obamacare. AT&T wrote in their Friday filing: “As a result of this legislation, including the additional tax burden, AT&T will be evaluating prospective changes to the active and retiree health-care benefits offered by the company.”

And AT&T is not alone. Towers Watson estimates that just this tax change alone will eliminate $14 billion in U.S. corporate profits. That’s $14 billion less American employers have to spend creating new jobs when our unemployment rate is still 9.7%. And AT&T is not the only company informing employees that Obamacare is going to mean worse care for them. Verizon Communications, the second biggest U.S. phone company, told employees last week that Obamacare “may have significant implications for both retirees and employers.”

The Heritage Foundation will be keeping you apprised of all of the consequences of Obamacare as they are learned with our new Foundry feature “Side Effects.” Already our health care experts have identified negative intended and unintended consequences from the legislation to children’s health insurance and health insurance taxes.

The American people already do not like this law. But to repeal it, we must keep Americans educated about all of Obamacare’s failures and offer our “Second Opinion” on what conservative idea would fix it.

Obama is a Victim of Bush's Failed Promises

From The Aurora Sentinel
By Chuck Green

Barack Obama is setting a record-setting number of records during his first year in office.

Largest budget ever. Largest deficit ever. Largest number of broken promises ever. Most self-serving speeches ever. Largest number of agenda-setting failures ever. Fastest dive in popularity ever.

Wow. Talk about change.

Just one year ago, fresh from his inauguration celebrations, President Obama was flying high. After one of the nation’s most inspiring political campaigns, the election of America’s first black president had captured the hopes and dreams of millions. To his devout followers, it was inconceivable that a year later his administration would be gripped in self-imposed crisis.

Of course, they don’t see it as self imposed. It’s all George Bush’s fault.

George Bush, who doesn’t have a vote in Congress and who no longer occupies the White House, is to blame for it all.

He broke Obama’s promise to put all bills on the White House web site for five days before signing them.

He broke Obama’s promise to have the congressional health care negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN.

He broke Obama’s promise to end earmarks.

He broke Obama’s promise to keep unemployment from rising above 8 percent.

He broke Obama’s promise to close the detention center at Guantanamo in the first year.

He broke Obama’s promise to make peace with direct, no pre-condition talks with America’s most hate-filled enemies during his first year in office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.

He broke Obama’s promise to end the hiring of former lobbyists into high White House jobs.

He broke Obama’s promise to end no-compete contracts with the government.

He broke Obama’s promise to disclose the names of all attendees at closed White House meetings.

He broke Obama’s promise for a new era of bipartisan cooperation in all matters.

He broke Obama’s promise to have chosen a home church to attend Sunday services with his family by Easter of last year.

Yes, it’s all George Bush’s fault. President Obama is nothing more than a puppet in the never-ending, failed Bush administration.

If only George Bush wasn’t still in charge, all of President Obama’s problems would be solved. His promises would have been kept, the economy would be back on track, Iran would have stopped its work on developing a nuclear bomb and would be negotiating a peace treaty with Israel, North Korea would have ended its tyrannical regime, and integrity would have been restored to the federal government.

Oh, and did I mention what it would be like if the Democrats, under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, didn’t have the heavy yoke of George Bush around their necks. There would be no earmarks, no closed-door drafting of bills, no increase in deficit spending, no special-interest influence (unions), no vote buying (Nebraska, Louisiana).

If only George Bush wasn’t still in charge, we’d have real change by now.

All the broken promises, all the failed legislation and delay (health care reform, immigration reform) is not President Obama’s fault or the fault of the Democrat-controlled Congress. It’s all George Bush’s fault.

Take for example the decision of Eric Holder, the president’s attorney general, to hold terrorists’ trials in New York City. Or his decision to try the Christmas Day underpants bomber as a civilian.

Two disastrous decisions.

Certainly those were bad judgments based on poor advice from George Bush.

Need more proof?

You might recall that when Scott Brown won last month’s election to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts, capturing “the Ted Kennedy seat,” President Obama said that Brown’s victory was the result of the same voter anger that propelled Obama into office in 2008. People were still angry about George Bush and the policies of the past 10 years, and they wanted change.

Yes, according to the president, the voter rebellion in Massachusetts last month was George Bush’s fault.

Therefore, in retaliation, they elected a Republican to the Ted Kennedy seat, ending a half-century of domination by Democrats.

It is all George Bush’s fault.

Will the failed administration of George Bush ever end, and the time for hope and change ever arrive?

Will President Obama ever accept responsibility for something — anything?
