Pat Buchanan: Stand Up for Indiana!
By Patrick J. Buchanan
In what has been called the “Catholic moment” in America, in the late 1940s and 1950s, Catholics were admonished from pulpits to “live the faith” and “set an example” for others.
Public lives were to reflect moral beliefs. Christians were to avoid those “living in sin.” Christians who operated motels and hotels did not rent rooms to unmarried couples.
Fast forward to 21st-century America.

Palm Sunday - "All Glory, Laud and Honor"
So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!" And Jesus found a young ass and sat upon it; as it is written, "Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on an ass's colt. (Jn 12:13-15)!"

Loyalty of Israel's True Friend
From The Jewish Chronicle
By Melanie Phillips
In New York last week, I was talking to American Jews anxious about
the very difficult relationship between President Obama and Israel's
newly re-elected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We wait to see
whether the Obama administration will carry out its post-election threat
to throw Israel under the bus if the declaration of a Palestine state
comes to a UN vote. The idea, however, that the nation of America would
sever its relationship with Israel is a very different matter. For
Israel has a special place in America's heart.

The Death Of Catholic Universities In America
Catholic universities in America have lost sight of their institutional
identities. Only direct intervention from the Vatican can reverse their
decline.
From The Federalist
By Dominic Lynch
Catholic universities in America are typically regarded as offering a well-rounded education combined with one of the premier intellectual forces of the West: the Catholic Church, and its vast well of knowledge in almost every discipline. Unlike state-sponsored institutions, which can offer a quality education, Catholic universities have the advantage of a grounded and time-tested moral foundation.
