Christina Jeffrey Continues Losing Campaign

Christina Jeffrey finished dead last out of five candidates in the June 2, SC Fourth Congressional District GOP Primary; but apparently no one bothered to tell the eccentric professor, or she has decided to continue her quixotic campaign anyway.

In a blog post dated November 11, 2010, an Atlanta supporter has announced a Money Bomb to help Jeffrey's indefatigable and endless campaign. Perhaps they are counting on die-hard Jeffrey supporters to be too inebriated to know what they are doing. According to the post, the Money Bomb is scheduled for December 31, 2010 - New Years Eve.

Jeffrey, a machine gun-toting grandmother who has called South Carolinians "inbreds," is an entertaining fixture in upstate GOP politics. After insisting that she had supported Duncan Hunter for President in 2008, and Ron Paul, and Fred Thompson, and Mike Huckabee, pictures ultimately surfaced showing Jeffrey only had eyes for Rudy.

During the course of the campaign, Jeffrey had to be removed by Greenville County Police for crashing an opponent's private meeting. More recently, a Christian businessman, who was the landlord for Jeffrey's Taylors campaign headquarters, also had to call Greenville County Police when she would not leave his premises. The landlord had accepted numerous late rent payments but nevertheless agreed to waive the final month's rent if Jeffrey vacated the offices by June 1, 2010. She failed to do so, and when the landlord refused to refund a security deposit, Jeffrey staged a sit-in at his business. Greenville County Police eventually escorted her off the property.

Since the colorful Jeffrey campaign continues, we would suggest this classic for a campaign theme song.

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words; The Conservativist Has the Goods

Christina Jeffrey front and center for Rudy!

Congratulations to The Conservativist! After all of Christina Jeffrey's insistence that she supported Duncan Hunter, (or was it Ron Paul? or was it Fred Thompson? or was it Mike Huckabee?) the Conservativist backed up their story with a photo that says it all.

There she is holding his sign, sporting his badge, and wearing the campaign colors of the pro-abortion, pro-partial birth abortion, pro-gay rights, anti-second amendment, big government, big tax and spending, cross dressing, twice divorced, drag queen who is estranged from his own children -- the most liberal Republican to ever seek the nomination of his party for the Presidency of the United States -- Rudy Giuliani.

Correction Regarding Christina Jeffrey - She's Had 7 Campaign Managers

A file photo of Dean Allen (No. 7) talking with Newt Gingrich, who fired Jeffrey from her position as House Historian. The stories they will be able to share!

It has been called to our attention that our story about the many campaign managers of Christina Jeffrey - or more aptly, those who attempted to manage the campaign of Christina Jeffrey -- was incorrect. We had written that Dean Allen is Christina Jeffrey's 6th campaign manager. However, we were unaware of her first campaign manager, a gentleman with whom she began to collaborate on a book.

Therefore Dean Allen, who had attempted to run for SC Adjutant General but failed to file, is Christina Jeffrey's 7th campaign manager in less than one year.

Perhaps 7 will be a lucky number for them both. Mr. Allen is hoping to gin up for Dr. Jeffrey the kind of national publicity he received for his own "Machine Gun Social." But we are reminded of a quote from Margaret Thatcher: "They have never learned what every woman knows:- you can't make a soufflé rise twice"

Christina Jeffrey, Jim Lee's Best Recruiter

***This post has been updated here.***

Christina Jeffrey may be one of the most entertaining candidates to seek public office this year. From her well-publicized tenure as House historian for four days until comments about the Nazi regime and the holocaust were exposed, to her recent declaration that South Carolinians are "in-breds," to questions about all the various candidates she claims to have supported for President in 2008, Jeffrey gives new meaning to the term loose cannon.

What is not well known is that she may be the single best recruiter for the Jim Lee campaign.

In less than one year she has had six campaign managers, including your scribe (#3). At least four of us now solidly support Jim Lee, the conservative seeking the Republican nomination in the 4th Congressional District.

As with her presidential support in 2008, Jeffrey has conflicting explanations as to why campaign manager #4 left. She tells some supporters that he needed to tend to spring chores on his farm in Honea Path. Others are told the unpaid volunteer was fired for insubordination.

Campaign manager #4 has an autistic son who needs full-time supervision. Jeffrey wanted her campaign manager to place yard signs on a busy highway, but campaign manager #4 declined because he had no one to watch his son. She insisted he take the boy along. But campaign manager #4 thought that would be unsafe; hence, the insubordination charge.

We didn't have time to learn the identity of campaign manager #5; apparently he was dispatched within 48 hours. Now we learn that Jeffrey is taking campaign advice from Dean Allen. The candidate for Adjutant General has advised her to go hard negative. Given Jeffrey's troubled history with volunteers, we wonder if South Carolina's loosest cannon really wants to involve in her campaign a gentleman who knows how to use an AK-47.
