Citizen Journalism Providing An Alternative to Britain and the World

While surfing conservative British sites today, I found a very interesting "politics for adults" site utilizing multi-media, citizen journalism called 18 Doughty Street.

In a groundbreaking initiative, 18 Doughty Street is building a network of 100 nationwide and worldwide citizen journalist reporters, each equipped with their own camcorder, which they can use to film reports for the site and its live programming.

Among many interesting posts is the video, "A World Without America," described on the site as:
the fourth of 18DoughtyStreet.com's weekly adverts. At a time of rampant anti-Americanism, this ad - produced with BritainAndAmerica.com - aims to remind the world of the great economic, technological and political benefits that the US has brought to the world.
